"sowohl als auch" hat sich eben durchgesetzt. "sowohl wie auch" hört sich zumindest für mich als Norddeutschen ziemlich merkwürdig an. Etwas anders sieht es z.B. aus, wenn man "sowohl" durch "ebenso" ersetzt. Da würde ich auf jeden Fall "ebenso wie auch" sagen.

Eine Suche bei Google bestätigt diese Entwicklung "sowohl als auch" gibt es etwa viermal so häufig wie "sowohl wie auch". Der Duden erlaubt übrigens beides.
