Richtig!!! Ob etwas korrekt oder nicht korrekt ist, entscheidet die Sprachgemeinschaft. Wenn die Mehrheit der Sprachgemeinschaft die Wendung "sowohl...als auch" benutzt, dann ist dies auf langer Sicht sprachlich korrekt. Der Duden beobachtet nur und legt dann die Schreibweise fest.
Eine Frage stellt sich mir allerdings:
Mein Sprachgefühl und auch das der Mehrheit sagt, es heißt "sowohl als auch". Hat sich diese Wendung durchgesetzt, weil es dem Sprachgefühl der Mehrheit entspricht oder entspricht diese Wendung dem Sprachgefühl der Mehrheit, weil es sich durchgesetzt hat? Wenn das letztere der Wahrheit entspricht, warum hat sich dann "sowohl... als" auch durchgesetzt?
Oft entscheidet nicht nur Sprachgefühl für die Durchsetzung eines Sprachusus', sondern auch der Pragmatismus bzw. der Drang zur Kürze. Aber in diesem Fall ist das allerdings unerheblich.
