Richtig, Daumen hoch dafür.
Ungeachtet der Tatsache, dass der Duden beides erlaubt, gibt es für mich zu jedem der beiden Konstrukte einen angemessenen Kontext. Der entbehrt aber leider jeglicher Logik und ist daher wahrscheinlich nur auf meinen persönlichen Geschmack (und Sprachgefühl?) zurückzuführen.
Eigenschaftsaufzählung: "Eine sowohl profunde wie auch schnelle Antwort"
Sonst: "Sowohl die Engländer als auch die Amerikaner hatten damals schon.."
oder: "Sowohl in der Biologie als auch in der Chemie.."
